== Assault on a Constable, Deputy Governor-General or Governor-General ==
Any physical assault, attempt to harm, or deliberate obstruction of a duly authorized Constable of the Artemis Colonial Constabulary, a Deputy Governor-General or Governor-General, when such a government employee is acting in the lawful execution of duty—including the execution of warrants, detainment, or field commands—shall constitute a serious offense. In aggravated circumstances, including use of a weapon, premeditation, or organized resistance, the offense shall escalate to penalties including detention, penal labor, or the use of deadly force.

This law must not be confused with the Obstruction of Justice Act which is reserved to more nuanced and light-form crimes.

=== Penalties ===
In cases where the Constable feels their or the employee's life runs in danger, they may use force and perform an arrest without a warrant. It is also proper to arrest someone without a warrant under this law so that they may temporarily cease the criminal behavior.

Fines for this crime can go up to 100,000 credits, depending on the severity of the offense and the economic situation of the Colonist, although higher fines can be requested of the Governor General.
