In cases where the Constable feels their or the employee's life runs in danger, they may use force and perform an arrest without a warrant. It is also proper to arrest someone without a warrant under this law so that they may temporarily cease the criminal behavior.

Fines for this crime can go up to 100,000 credits, depending on the severity of the offense and the economic situation of the Colonist, although higher fines can be requested of the Governor General.
