The dome will have to be actually completed and glassed. The very top and bottom of it will be dark obsidian glass; several layers near but not at the very top will be clear soda-lime glass to allow appropriate light and warmth in; the rest can be constructed of blends of the two of varying tint, less strictly shaded. In other words: 

* 30 additional hexagonal dome panels to complete the frame;
* 20 panes of soda-lime glass for the perfectly clear central layers of glass;
* 2,000,000 grams of glass in the District 1 Mobile Base assembler for the remaining tinted layers.
