Please keep this timeline to significant events that players would have heard about even when offline, as an OOC communication tool for significant events. e.g. did it affect everybody or would they have heard about it as widespread gossip that everybody was talking about.

  • 2145: Professor Callysto's discovery of Planet Artemis and his plan for a mission is announced all over holographic screens across the world. Individuals from the most diverse backgrounds eagerly submitted their applications for the missions.
  • 2169-06-01 (1 June): The Artemis Expeditor began orbiting around Artemis as they prepared for the landing sequence.
  • 2169-06-25 (June 25): The Artemis Expeditor Lands on Artemis
  • 2170: Wave 5 of Colonists
  • 2170-03-18: Xeroliths attack the colony.
  • 2170: The first vodka of Artemis was produced from 9 kg of potatoes, a blend of russet, red, and Yukon gold, by Roark Kenrick Mackay and Raymond Jackson. The potatoes were cubed, boiled, mashed, then fermented with yeast for two weeks in a lidded sterilized bucket rigged with a simple double-bubble airlock crafted from tubing. The fermented liquid was then heated in a still made from a modified cooking pot and copper tubing to separate the alcohol vapor from other compounds. After being put through a filter of crushed charcoal made with spent plant stems from hydroponics, the batch was freely served to colonists and entirely consumed within hours.
