|Radios are a great tool for finding roleplay partners, gathering a group for hunting, calling for medical aide, and more.  
|In the early years of the Artemis colony (2169-2174), radios were used to enable communications between colonists. At the start of 2175, however, improvements to the Quantum Communications Network (QCN) allowed a localized QC-chip based system for hands-free communication to come online. This system is still very new, and changes in its features and functions are expected to continue as time goes on. It has entirely replaced the old radio technology that was once the colony's standard, and only forgetful old-timers are likely to refer to getting in touch on the 'radio' these days.

The main frequency for a majority of communications in Untold Dawn is 300.000 MHz. The up and down buttons on your radio can be pressed to change the frequency you will use to broadcast your message. Use the command 'look radio' to view the frequency your radio is set to.

Syntax

pn - Show information about your QCN PN system.

pn alias <alias> - Sets your PN alias. Note: You MUST do this to hear the channel!

pn description <description> - Sets your PN description which will show in the WHO list.

pn who - Shows a list of actors of interest currently connected to the QCN and conscious. Note: The system's consciousness detection may be imperfect. (AKA, players may be afk!)

pn all <text> - Sends a message to all players on the QCN PN system.

For example:

pn alias Nobody

[QCN-PN] You have set your alias to 'Nobody'.

pn all Testing.

[QCN-PN] Nobody: Testing.
