In the early years of the Artemis colony (2169-2174), radios were used to enable communications between colonists. At the start of 2175, however, improvements to the Quantum Communications Network (QCN) allowed a localized QC-chip based system for hands-free communication to come online - the PN System, or Personal Network. The PN system is still very new, and changes in its features and functions are expected to continue as time goes on.

Syntax

pn - Show information about your QCN PN system.

pn alias <alias> - Sets your PN alias. Note: You MUST do this to hear the channel!

pn description <description> - Sets your PN description which will show in the WHO list.

pn who - Shows a list of actors of interest currently connected to the QCN and conscious. Note: The system's consciousness detection may be imperfect. (AKA, players may be afk!)

pn all <text> - Sends a message to all players on the QCN PN system.

pn silence - Turns off the QCN PN system for you. Use pn silence again to turn it back on.

pn alias Nobody

[QCN-PN] You have set your alias to 'Nobody'.

pn all Testing.

[QCN-PN] Nobody: Testing.

Notes

The PN system is brand-new as of June 2025 and in development!
