|Untold Dawn allows the use of color markup codes, which can be inserted anywhere in a string and make it display the Red/Green/Blue color code for game clients that are compatible. Use them sparingly, and also avoid using them in sdesc lines since the color codes break object matching on the words they affect.
|Untold Dawn allows the use of color markup codes, which can be inserted anywhere in a string to make it display the Red/Green/Blue color code for game clients that are compatible.  


They can be used in clothing, body parts descriptions, tdesc, etc.
Color codes in Untold Dawn take the format |{RRR,GGG,BBB} text here|n, with the |n used to close the color code. For example, |{255,255,255}white text|n will show the words 'white text' in white.

There are also 14 basic colors coded in by letter - |w, |r, |y, |g, |c, |b, and |m are dark white (aka grey), dark red, dark yellow, dark green, dark cyan, dark blue, and dark magenta. Capitalizing each letter (e.g. |W) will give a brighter shade of each color.
 
Color codes can be used in clothing, descriptions, PDA nodes, etc. Use them sparingly. If you are using color when retooling item short descriptions, be careful to avoid putting color in the keywords you want to target the item by, as any word with color codes in it will not work as a keyword.
