This is a guide containing many of the commands you will use to play Untold Dawn.

Basic Movement

To move around, you can type the cardinal direction you which to move through. For example:

  • north
  • n
  • west
  • w
  • east
  • e
  • south
  • s
  • northwest
  • nw

Look

It's important to know that you can look at the room, and you can look at objects or characters.

look (or l) - look at the room you are standing in

look <target> - look at the object or character you desire

```look
look man
look east
look me```
Emoting
Emoting is the most important aspect of roleplay. In Untold Dawn, you can emote both in speech and out of it.
The targetting style for emotes is inspired by the same emoting style in other games such as Armageddon MUD. You can emote like this:
emote smiles.
Others will see: The newbie smiles.
emote smiles at ~man.
Target will see: Newbie smiles at you.
emote With a grin, @ nods at ~man.
Target will see: With a grin, the newbie nods at you.
