Still Light

What is the Still Light?

The name is unfamiliar to many people on Artemis, though Commnet Node #3094 helpfully labels it as a "mysterious entity" alongside the sinister Aurivor.

Those who have heard of the Still Light know of it as a supposedly benevolent presence, a telepathic entity with unknown powers. Its existence was made known to Perry Walker on December 5th, 2173, when he received a visitation in Yaochi Grove praying beneath the crystalline tree (#3088). While most people accepted he did indeed make contact with SOMETHING, the Light's true nature and intentions remain a highly disputed question.

Just the same, a nascent faith appears to be forming around venerating the Light. The emergence of Artemis's first homegrown religion is being watched closely by those who fear the dangers of introducing zealotry in a delicate ecosystem.
